Kansas City concrete leveling · Since 2003
We lift sunken driveways, walkways, patios and garage slabs back to level by pumping a dirt and mortar mix into the voids underneath. It is solid, it lasts, and it costs a fraction of the price of poly foam.

Our story
American Mudjacking has spent two decades doing one thing across the metro: raising and leveling concrete that has started to sink. It is an eco friendly, inexpensive alternative to tearing slabs out and pouring new ones.
Most sunken concrete does not need to be torn out and replaced. From the beginning, we have raised it back to level for a fraction of the cost of a new pour.
We never chased trends. We drill small ports, pump a dirt and mortar mix to fill the voids under the slab, then patch the holes. Simple, and it holds.
Homeowners with an uneven walk or a dropped garage floor. Businesses with sunken entryways, steps and parking lots. We level all types of slabs, and no job is too large.
Twenty years on, we still cover the whole Kansas City metro from our base in Olathe, still quote every job honestly, and still hold a 5.0 rating on Google.

Why concrete sinks
Concrete slabs sink for a handful of reasons: soil erosion, poor soil preparation, and the ground shifting over time.
As the soil settles it leaves a void, and with less earth underneath to support it the slab drops, cracks, and turns into a trip hazard. Simply swapping the slab out does nothing about that empty space, so a fresh pour tends to sink right back down.
Mudjacking fixes the actual cause. We fill the void and lift the existing slab back where it belongs, which makes the repair far more stable and secure in the long run.
How it works
A clean, low disruption process that leaves your existing slab solid and ready to use, with no demolition and no curing wait.

We bore a series of small, coin sized holes through the sunken slab, spaced so it lifts evenly.

A dirt and mortar slurry is pumped through the holes, filling the voids in the soil and floating the slab back up to level.

The holes are filled flush, the site is cleaned, and the slab is ready to walk and drive on the same day.
What we fix
An uneven sidewalk that has become a tripping risk, a driveway that has started to sag, a garage floor that has dropped. We level and regrade the concrete you already have, restoring both safety and curb appeal.
Comprehensive concrete leveling for projects of any scale: parking lots, driveways, entryways and steps. We level all types of concrete slabs, and no job is too large.
What Kansas City says
We obtained multiple bids and his pricing and confidence were above the rest. Don't let Justin's relaxed style on the estimate process be of concern. He is extremely qualified and meticulous in his work. The concrete whisperer.
Justin and his crew did a remarkable job. I made an inquiry Monday evening with a near immediate response, had an estimate Tuesday afternoon, and completed work by late Wednesday morning. Efficiency and professionalism are definitely a focal point with his company.
Rep showed up and advised me on my driveway. He spoke honestly and told me to save my money. It's great having someone with integrity and honesty.
I had 2 companies come out and gave me written bids and American MJ was significantly lower. They came out on time, did the work and a little more than what was bid for the same amount. Clean up was great and would use again.
My second time using them for different homes. Justin hit another home run. He raised a walkway beautifully and the entire driveway for a two car garage. They were done fast and clean at a very favorable cost. Problems solved, thank you American Mudjacking.
The price angle
Poly foam injection has its place, but for most residential and commercial slabs, traditional mudjacking reaches the same level for far less. We will tell you honestly which one your job actually needs.
No demolition, no long cure, and no pressure on the estimate.
